Carmen "Pinky" Valdes' much-awaited christian/gospel cd entitled "Sandalwood" which Norman and I produced, will be launched in a concert at the Manila Peninsula Hotel Ballroom on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 in celebration of Assumption Day, most appropriate for the occasion as Pinky Valdes came from Assumption Convent serving as high school principal for many years. One of the highlights of the day is a special presentation of the cd to Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, one of the school's most renowned alumni. I will be flying to Manila shortly to join the "team" and be the musical director for the cd launch. Wish me luck, my friends!
